Ministry of Interior, German and Australian Embassies Visit Police Station and OWSO in Kandal

KANDAL: The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sar Kheng, led a delegation from the Ministry of Interior, accompanied by a delegation from the German and Australian Embassies, to inspect the duties of the Dei Edth Commune Police Station and the One Window Service Office (OWSO) in Kien Svay District in Kandal Province on Monday.

The Deputy Prime Minister and his delegation listened to a briefing on the work of the administrative police station and community security in Dei Eth commune. The German and Australian Embassies also received a briefing and question-and-answer session with the Chief of the Dei Edth Commune Administrative Police Station and the Director of the Administrative Police Affairs Department.

After visiting the police station, the Deputy Prime Minister led the delegations of the Ministry of Interior and the German and Australian Embassies to the Police Academy of Cambodia located in Dei Edth Commune, where they were welcomed by the President of the Police Academy, General Seng Phally, and other leaders, professors, students, police students and honorary officers of the Academy.

At the Police Academy, the Deputy Prime Minister, along with the delegations, watched a presentation on the training of the National Police Force, presented by General Seng Phally, who also gave the group a tour around the premises of the Police Academy before proceeding to Kien Svay District Hall.

At Kien Svay District Hall, the group visited the OWSO where officials provide administrative services to the people. The Governor of Kien Svay District, including the Director of the OWSO, made a presentation for the Deputy Prime Minister and his delegations, which was followed by a conversation with the officials and civilians seeking services at the OWSO at the time.

During the occasion of this visit, the Deputy Prime Minister discussed matters related to decentralization of the launching of the OWSO and other matters related to the cooperation between the Ministry of Interior and the German and Australian parties.
